Albatross  > USS Albatross MSC-289 > 10. Life Now on Camano Island
I was born in Seattle, grew up in the quaint little waterfont town of Edmonds and have since migrated a bit further north to Camano Island -- just inboard of Whidbey Island and south of the San Juan Islands. My wife, Sandy, and I feel very fortunate to live in such a beautiful corner of America.

Albatross > Our home is just 5 or 6 blocks up the hill from Camano Island's Madrona Beach. This area was dotted with family-owned fishing charter businesses during the 1930s, '40s and '50s.
Albatross > My step-son, Sean, and I attack clams on our Madrona Beach.
Albatross > Once in a while we get a low tide for clamming on our beach. Sandy hates clams, but she's a very good wife.
